3rd & Fairfax Farmers Market • Family-friendly Festival, features several bands and special acts just for children. Fall Festival often offers very special events, too (marching bands, pig races and a petting zoo have all been part of the celebration in years past). 

Baldwin Hills • "sound", new compositions by percussionist Alex Cline, experimental collective Lady Noise and brass specialist William Roper. These new SASSAS commissions will be played by more than 30 Los Angeles area musicians arrayed in different locations across the historic topography of the Overlook.

Beverly Hills • The Affaire in the Gardens Art Show, features art by more than 200 exhibitors from around the nation,who showcase their work in painting, sculpture, watercolor, photography, mixed media, ceramics, jewelry, drawings and printmaking. With live performances by more then 10 bands.  

Calabasas • Pumpkin Festival. YES it's the best $5 you will spend this year. It covers addmission, parking,  games and rides. This annual fall event is held at Juan de Anza Park in Calabasas. Over 30,000 participants enjoyed the pumpkins, car show, live music, pumpkin carving, pumpkin games, rides, Reptile & Wildlife Shows and more all for $5.

Glendale • Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre will perform “Expulsion”.

Pasadena • ARTPerformance. Cultural Dance Festival, where dances from around the world will be performed. This multicultural festival of movement will feature both professionals and amateurs, children and adults, at locations around Old Pasadena. Following each performance, event attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a short lesson on dances from that culture.

San Marino • LA Opera Talk: Romeo et Juliette.

Santa Monica • National Plug In Day. Electric Auto Parade, 75 model on display and  test drives. 

San Pedro • Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.  Autumn Sea Fair, this unique event offers ocean-related activities for every age, including face-painting, an exciting marine life puppet show, and a giant origami demonstration. Adventurous pirates of all ages can join in the search for buried treasure in the “Great Treasure Hunt.” Learn how to cast a fishing line.
