Claremont • The Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology. The large collection of fossil mammals from North America. The Hall of Footprints is the largest, most diverse collection of animal footprints on display in North America.

Brentwood • The Skirball Cultural Center, features an extraordinary museum, changing exhibitions, engaging music, theater, comedy, film, family, and literary programs. 

Downtown • Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Grand Avenue. The Museum houses abstract expressionist pieces to pop art to recent works by young artists. 5 to 8 PM.

Downtown • Japanese American National Musem. In two locations, the museum looks at what it was to be Japanese through out the history of the United States.

Hollywood • Comedy Central Stage. Free comedy show tonight, Rebecca Drysdale and Christina Gausas.

Hollywood • Amoeba Music in store performance tonight !!Super Action DJ's!!! DJ Plastic Crimewave & DJ Frankie Delmane go cape to cape in an all out super hero mind melt of musical proportions, as our duo hover over the turntables for three hours of psychedelic sounds, feral punk, gnarly garage, deep soul, experimental blowout, hillbilly hand wringers, disaster jazz, songwriting softies, gypsy folk freaks, R&B shouters, and space rock, amongst other various genre addictions; exploitation of the finest kind.

Mid-Wilshire • Los Angeles Craft and Folk Art Museum a unique jewel among museums and attractions, presents traditional arts and crafts from Southern California and beyond, showing everything from traditional Japanese puppets to Mexican silverwork to local conceptual art. 

Pasadena • The Tournament of Roses House and Rose Garden. This Italian Renaissance-style mansion that was once owned by chewing-gum pioneer William Wrigley Jr. Open 2 to 4 PM.

Pomona • Metro Farmers Market and Antique Row. a European - style farmers market with exotic produce, flowers, herbs and breads with live entertainment.
