Covina Thunderfest. The entire family is encouraged to come out to the streets of Covina for the sights and sounds of the Thunderfest Car Show and Music Festival.

Eagle Rock • 13th Annual Music Festival. Recognized for fostering a unifying community atmosphere while maintaining a commitment to groundbreaking music, the Music Festival is a local event with a citywide appeal and audience.

East LA • Concert: East Los Angeles Civic Center, live performance this afternoon by Susie Hansen Latin Jazz Band (Latin Jazz).

Gardena • Concert: Nakaoka Community Center, live performance this afternoon by The Bonedaddys (Pop/Rock). 

Hollywood • Old Fire Station 27, is a completely restored facility, and represents what the station was like when it was in operation. Three apparatus bays are filled with equipment, some dating back to the early 1900s and not to be found anywhere else. In addition, artifacts and equipment of all types are on display, dating from the 1880s through the present day.

La Canada Pasadena Crusin' Weekly Car Show. Usually 200-300 Cars on display.

Montrose • 34rd Annual Oktoberfest, German bands will be playing - so after a stein or two, feel free to dance - or Polka - game booths - carnival rides - a continuous Bingo game - a nonstop variety show featuring local and professional amateur talent - a contest for Best dressed dogs and best Bavarian costumes - plus authentic German bratwurst, beer, sauerkraut, beer.

 Santa Monica • 6th Annual AltCar Expo & Conference. A rare hands-on experience with all  alternative technology vehicles and transportation, infrastructure, renewable energies, energy efficiency and urban planning found worldwide.

Santa Monica World Festival of Sacred Music Honoring the Sea. Agape International Choir, Halau Keali'i O Nalani with Halau O Lilinoe, Kinnara Taiko, La Canada High School Marching Band, Sacred Rhythm Drum Ensemble, Swing Brazil Tribe with Viver Brasi, Ti’at Society and much more.
