Alhambra • Rick's Main Street Cafe Stage live concert. Tonight 2nd Time Around - oldies.

Beverly Hills • The Affaire in the Gardens Art Show. Four blocks of fine arts and crafts.

Downtown • Red Bull Soapbox Race. Not to be confused with the youth soapbox derby, Red Bull Soapbox Race is a national race for amateur drivers, which is fueled by creativity and competitive fun - not to mention the need for speed.

Hollywood • Old Fire Station 27, is a completely restored facility, and represents what the station was like when it was in operation. Three apparatus bays are filled with equipment, some dating back to the early 1900s and not to be found anywhere else. In addition, artifacts and equipment of all types are on display, dating from the 1880s through the present day.

Hollywood Dome Arclight Entertainment Center. Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band. Music on the Plaza. 

La Canada Pasadena Crusin' Weekly Car Show. Usually 200-300 Cars.

La Mirada • Symphony Orchestra Live Concert, “an all American tribute.

Monterey Park • Play Days Birthday Celebration. The City of Monterey Park celebrates its history with rides, live entertainment, food booths and a festival parade.

Pasadena • CalTech Glee Club and Orchestra. To perform together for their final concert this season.

Santa Fe Springs • Aloha Expo at Heritage Park. The festival featuring an outdoor cultural marketplace, island cuisine, and continuous Hawaiian and Polynesian music and dance.

Sylmar • 6th Annual Celebrating Words Festival. Spoken word performances at the main stage, a children’s corner with arts & crafts activities, local community non-profits and resources, local foods, artisan vendors, live art and live music!

Torrance • Armed Forces Day Parade & Celebration. Military exhibits on display, including aircrafts, vehicles, support equipment may be viewed.
