Hollywood • Old Fire Station 27, is a completely restored facility, and represents what the station was like when it was in operation. Three apparatus bays are filled with equipment, some dating back to the early 1900s and not to be found anywhere else. In addition, artifacts and equipment of all types are on display, dating from the 1880s through the present day.

Olvera Street • Chinese American Museum. 11th Annual Lantern Festival celebration, will spotlight the sights and sounds of this popular Chinese holiday with a recreation of a traditional village street featuring brilliant lantern displays, stage performances, and a variety of interactive workshops showcasing Chinese traditional arts and crafts.

 USC  University Park Campus • Letters from Zora: In Her Own Words. Actress Vanessa Bell Calloway will take on the role of Zora Neale Hurston in a provocative multimedia production. With live music and archival images, the performance will illuminate Hurston’s prose, her life, her distinctive array of friends and foes and her unique view of a jazz-age world.
