Downtown • El Pueblo: A Historical 90 minute walking Tour Tracing the Early Development of Los Angeles.

 

Downtown • Walt Disney Concert Hall. World City presents Bolivia Corazón de América and Andes Manta, captivates audiences with their spectacular traditional costumes and lively dances, which showcase the dance and musical heritage of Bolivia.

 

El Monte Airport • Pasadena Crusin' Weekly Car Show.

 

Glendale • Noon Concert. Hiromi Warren, a freelance violinist in the Los Angeles area, is currently coached by the legendary violinist Ruggiero Ricci.

 

Griffith Observatory • Public Star Party. The Los Angeles Astronomical Society joins the Los Angeles Sidewalk Astronomers for a program that introduces families to the sun, moon, visible planets and other celestial objects using a variety of professional telescopes. 2 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.

 

Hollywood • Old Fire Station 27, is a completely restored facility, and represents what the station was like when it was in operation. Three apparatus bays are filled with equipment, some dating back to the early 1900s and not to be found anywhere else. In addition, artifacts and equipment of all types are on display, dating from the 1880s through the present day.

 

Long Beach • Native American Indian Festival. Dances from tribes across North America. Arts and crafts demonstation, teaching children to make dream catchers. Cooking demonstrations of traditional fry bread, Indian tacos and stew and much more.


Mont Washington • Autry National Center Southwest Museum of the American Indian, being the oldest museum in the city of Los Angeles, is now on "Limited Access" and will only be open on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00–5:00 pm. Admission is free to all visitors during reconstruction, renovation and conservation of the collection.

 

SilverLake • Art/Craft & Vintage Fair. There will be local artists mixed in along with the best of vintage collectibles, vintage clothing, and retro furniture. Did we mention plants, succulents, a Tarot card reader, and a lady who does energy work on animals? What more could you ask for?


Van Nuys • The Green Expo. Celebrate the environment, healthy living, community and social consciousness at this solar panel powered festival. Highlights include over 150 exhibitors, educational workshops, free food and beverages, children's activities, eco awareness, eco fashion show and more.
