Downtown • Museum of Contemporary Art. (MOCA) Grand Avenue. The Museum houses abstract expressionist pieces to pop art to recent works by young artists. 5 to 8 PM
Downtown • Japanese American National Musem. In two locations, the museum looks at what it was to be Japanese through out the history of the United States.
Pasadena • The Tournament of Roses House and Rose Garden. This Italian Renaissance-style mansion that was once owned by chewing-gum pioneer William Wrigley Jr. Open 2 to 4 PM.
Santa Monica • Civic Auditorium. Paisajes, del Monte’s newest flamenco concerto at a free concert.
Westwood • Geffen Playhouse, present After Darks, Pirates take their signature story telling style to adult levels, recreating kids stories that won't quite land you in the principal's office but are appropriate for a slightly older audience.
