Downtown• Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Grand Avenue. The Museum houses abstract expressionist pieces to pop art to recent works by young artists. 5 to 8 PM.

Hollywood • Comedy Central Stage live performance tonight "Sad on Vacation". The nine members of Sad On Vacation are all doctors who gave up helping sick people to focus on video and live sketch comedy. Their sketches run the gamut from lighthearted slapstick to the darkly absurd. Also, they used to be doctors. Featuring Jon Barinholtz, Mort Burke, Wes Haney, George McAuliffe, Conner O'Malley, Andrew Peyton, Mark Vannier, Sam Weiner & Chris Witaske.

 

Hollywood • Amoeba Music Live performance tonight by Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and former Beulah frontman Miles Kurosky.

 

UCLA • UCLA Hammer Museum. Occidental Petroleum Founder Armand Hammer left his collection of impressionist and Post-impressionist paintings, including work by Monet, Van Gogh and Pissarro to the museum.
