Museum houses abstract expressionist pieces to pop art to recent works by young

Japanese American National Musem. In
two locations, the museum looks at what it was to be Japanese through out the
history of the United States.
Hollywood • Comedy Central Stage,
so you can put off all your responsibilities and spend January taking
in a bunch of free comedy at Comedy Central Stage at The Hudson in
Hollywood. Tonight, "Goodle my Tweet". Los Angeles-based Second City Mainstage alumni (Christina Anthony,
Allison Bills, Megan Grano, Jamie Moyer and Doug Morency) perform
sketches taking aim at life in these modern, tweetable times and the
quirks of living in the City of Angels. Directed by Second City’s Marc
Warzecha.
Long Beach • Aquarium Of The Pacific. Celebrate Downtown 2012, 6:30 to 9 p.m., Before and after the program, attendees will enjoy appetizers and the
music of The Lonely Hearts Club Band, while they wander the Aquarium.
