Hollywood • Old Fire Station 27, is a completely restored facility, and represents what the station was like when it was in operation. Three apparatus bays are filled with equipment, some dating back to the early 1900s and not to be found anywhere else. In addition, artifacts and equipment of all types are on display, dating from the 1880s through the present day.

Pasadena • Caltech Jazz Festival. The program and guest artist line-up for this annual four-hour favorite have not yet been announced. The event will be held outdoors, in the Gates Library patio behind the Parsons-Gates Hall of Administration at Caltech.

 

Monterey Park • 13th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Enjoy a wide array of Japanese cultural arts and entertainment, food, crafts, and games. Highlights include taiko drum groups, sumo wrestling demonstration, Kabuki performance, traditional dance performances, and special musical guests.

 

Mont Washington • Autry National Center Southwest Museum of the American Indian, being the oldest museum in the city of Los Angeles, is now on "Limited Access" and will only be open on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00–5:00 pm. Admission is free to all visitors during reconstruction, renovation and conservation of the collection.

 

Santa Monica • Earth Day on the Promenade. Eco-Fest with over 60 fascinating eco-exhibits, food, live music, animals and fun.
